PassTiming
PassTiming company started measuring ultramarathon and road running races in 2016.
Our measurement systems are specially designed technological systems. These systems are used to accurately measure and record the times, distances and other performance data of runners in a race. Our systems are an important tool for race organizations and help athletes evaluate their performance in the races they participate in.
Our measurement systems work in the following ways:
Time Measurement
Timing devices placed at start, finish and intermediate points record the start and finish times of runners. This way, each runner's net race time is determined.
RFID and Electronic Chips
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chips placed on runners' bib numbers communicate with antennas placed at start and finish points. These chips automatically detect runners' passages and record the correct information at the right time.
Video and Photo Tracking
Videos and photos of runners can be taken during the race. This data helps runners visually evaluate their race performance and save their memories.
Running race measurement systems are important to ensure that race organizations are carried out correctly and fairly. They are also an important evaluation tool for athletes. Race results are published on the www.passtiming.org platform, so participants can track and compare their performances. Digital finishing certificates can also be saved from this page.
We would like to reiterate that we have the right infrastructure, experienced personnel and appropriate technology use for these systems to work properly.
